Slow dyed and processed with flowers and other botanical elements from my small plot garden in San Diego, California. I focus on using natural elements to impress upon fabric and create subtly shifting colors. As a floral designer, gardener and devout Rose lover, it’s important to me to incorporate any and all waste elements into art or functional uses. Using flowers in this way feels magical while giving these flowers an afterlife to be celebrated again and again.

The color of this collection reads warm dusty Rose pink with shades of grays, speckled with freckles of fuchsia and bits bright yellow with shifts of seafoam metallic hues.

The main components of the bath dye were created from several baths of rose petals, hibiscus, camellias, buckwheat and spots of deep fuchsia are from insect scale.

Each piece is unique, while the batch as a whole is harmonious. It’s the largest collection I’ve made from natural dyes and each size is sold as a set. It takes several months until the garden has made enough flowers for another collection and up to three weeks to process. I'm excited to share my first, ready to ship 100% silk sleep set.

Colors will fade naturally over time, so please wash with care using a mild rinse and hang or lay flat to dry. Pieces have a light crinkle of wrinkles because of how they are processed, this can be slightly tamed if desired, by using a iron on a light setting for silk.

Sizes run small due to the processing of bundle dying with heat. Please size up or ask for our recommendation.
